SOAR's Fall Fest Candy Contest is in full swing - bring in your candy by 10/23! 2nd Session Tickets Going Fast!
In addition to the in-school supports offered to students, Mchaela Lauer, the school social worker for Country Parkway, also partners with community resources to help meet the needs of our students and families. The Warm Clothing Project through the Town of Amherst Youth and Recreation Department is currently open for referrals. The project gives families 2 warm clothing items for each of their children (most often warm boots and coat). If you could use the help of this program, Mrs. Lauer is happy to send a referral for your family. This will be strictly confidential. If you contact Mrs. Lauer to sign up, no one at school other than her will be made aware. If this program is something you would be interested in, please send her a WITS message, email at mdlauer@williamsvillek12.org or call me directy at 716-626-9872. She will need some detailed information, such as sizing, but no financial information is needed to sign up-just contact me!
*Warm clothing items will not be delivered until the beginning of December*
*Stay tuned- in the near future, Mrs. Lauer will be sending information about our Williamsville food pantry that includes free food delivery for Williamsville students.*
