A Sweet Way to Kick off the School Year!
Join us for Popsicles with the Principals, a fun opportunity for CP students and families to reconnect before the first day of school!
Students and their siblings can enjoy a free popsicle, courtesy of the PTA, while meeting up with friends and getting excited for the year ahead. Stay for as little or as long as you'd like.
Both Mr. Barnes and Mrs. Skinner will be there to welcome families and kick off the new school year!
To help students find familiar faces and meet new friends, each student will select their appropriate, grade-specific color tag featuring their assigned teacher’s name. (Remember, teacher assignments will be announced Friday, August 28th). The tag colors will help students identify others in their grade, while the teacher names will make it easy to spot classmates!

A friendly reminder that the school building will not be open during this event, and restroom facilities will not be available.

During Popsicles with the Principals, future riders and families are invited to stop by our Country Parkway Bus Orientation. Students will have the opportunity to tour a parked school bus, practice sitting in a seat, and learn what to expect on their very first ride to school!
